Our staff provides an atmosphere of trust and caring between our team and our patients. They have been with Dr. George's practice with over 100 years of combined experience in orthodontics. Each team member takes pride in her job, recognizing the important role the group takes in making sure that each patient has an enjoyable orthodontic experience. Successful orthodontic treatment requires all the elements of good teamwork. Our staff will work with you, and your child, to provide an ideal treatment result, fun, and rewarding experience in our practice.

Dr. George is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Indiana Orthodontic Association, Hoosier Orthodontic Forum, Indiana Dental Association and is a former president of the West Central Dental Society. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Oral Pathology and is on clinical staff at several local hospitals. Dr. George received his master's degree in orthodontics from the University of Michigan, where he is an active member of the Alumni Association. He routinely teaches continuing education courses for dental and dental hygiene groups and classes at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

Donald George Jr., DDS, has been appointed an assistant clinical professor at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Department of Orthodontics.

Dr. George teaches orthodontics at Vanderbilt University two days per month and has the orthodontic residents visiting his office in West Lafaye tte on a regular basis.

Dr. Donald George, Jr. recently passed the clinical recertification examination by the American Board of Orthodontics and is Board Certified. This recognition signifies his investment in providing orthodontic treatment of the highest standards.

Kellie H. has worked with Dr. George for TWENTY ONE years as an Orthodontic Assistant. She graduated from the Ivy Tech Dental Assisting Program and Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). Kellie lives in Lafayette with her husband and two sons, Evan and Austin. She volunteers at their elementary school and is passionate about riding horses. With so much experience, Kellie knows what it takes to help make great smiles.

Heather R. is our Clinic Coodinator and a Orthodontic Assistant. She has worked for Dr. George for FIFTEEN years and is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). Heather resides in Fowler with her husband and 2 daughters, Halle and Lexie. In her spare time she enjoys making bridal flower arrangements with her mother. She also loves to sew, and spend time with her family. Heather enjoys her work and looks forward to creating new smiles for our patients.

Laura N. is our Lab Technician, and has been with Dr. George for THIRTEEN years. Laura is a CDA, and a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). Additional certification in CPR and radiology. She loves helping patients achieve a beautiful, healthy, and straight smile. Her favorite past times outside of work include: gardening, fishing, and camping. Laura enjoys meeting and greeting each patient, and looks forward to meeting you.

Amy C. is our Patient Flow Coordinator and Orthodontic Assistant. She has been with Dr. George for THIRTEEN years. Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA) and Certified in CPR. She is our Administrator with OSHA Standards. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, making jewelry, and spending time with her family. Amy directs our clinic to make your visit a pleasant and memorable experience.

Rene’ V. is an Orthodontic Assistant and has worked for Dr. George for THIRTEEN years. She has been in the dentistry field for years and graduated from Professional Careers Institute. Rene' is an Expanded Restorative Procedures Dental Assistant, and a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA), with additional certification in radiology and CPR. She lives in Delphi with her husband and son, and is an active member in TRI KAPPA. Rene' takes pride in her work and looks forward to working with you and you children.

Melissa C. our Treatment Coordinator, has worked with Dr. George for ELEVEN years. Melissa is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA) and is certified in CPR. She lives in West Lafayette with her husband and family. Melissa looks forward to meeting every patient and making each patient feel special. Her goal is to make our patient's visit a memorable one.

Marina M. is our Image Technician and Orthodontic Assistant. She has worked with Dr. George for ELEVEN years. Graduated from the Ivy Tech Dental Assisting Program in 1994, and Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA) in 2007. Marina is an Expanded Restorative Procedures Dental Assistant, with additional certification in Radiology and CPR. She lives in Brookston with her boyfriend, John and daughter, Sammy. She enjoys volunteering at her daughter's School and loves to spend her free time at home on the river. She looks forward to taking records of each new patient that comes in. Her goal is to make your visit a pleasant one.

Shannel K. is our Financial Coordinator and has worked with Dr. George for EIGHT years. Shannel is certified in CPR and ia a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). She graduated from Benton Central High School, and now lives in Otterbein with her husband Jo hn, and 2 children. Shannel enjoys watching movies, and spending time with family. She is always happy to take the time to help patients with their financial needs.

Teresa M. is our Scheduling Coordinator and has been working with Dr. George for FIVE years. She is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA) and Certified in CPR.Teresa lives in West Lafayette with her husband and their three children. All of whom were treated by Dr. George. Teresa likes spending time with her family and freinds. She enjoys greeting each patient before and after their appointment.

Cassie L. is an Orthodontic Assistant and has worked with Dr. George for FIVE years. She is a Certified Orthodontic Assistant with Academy of Orthodontic Assisting (AOA). Cassie resides in Lafayette with her husband, Brad and Daughter, Taylor. She grew up in Starke County, and is a graduate of Knox High school. Cassie is proud to be part of such a progressive, friendly, and outstanding orthodontic practice, that strives for excellence and values.
